Welcome to Beautifully Gluten Free!

My family began our gluten free journey in early 2010, after our daughter received her celiac diagnosis. We didn't have help making the transition from living gluten full to surviving and thriving gluten free. It was up to us to figure it out alone, and it was overwhelming. I would have loved to have someone come into our lives - and into our kitchen - to help support us on our journey. It would have been invaluable to have someone to help us feel included in a community and less isolated and confused. While there are a lot of resources, and information online, it’s often incomplete or provided without context. What’s nearly impossible to find are online resources and information combined with a face to face and personal experience.

I’ve earned my Masters of Science in Holistic Nutrition, I’m a founding member of the Advisory Board for Seattle Children’s Hospital’s Celiac Disease Program, and a mom and caregiver with more than 14 years of experience navigating the gluten full world. Like any exploration worth pursuing, our journey has had some bumps along the way. We’ve seen our daughter get sick from exposure to gluten, but, more often than not, we’ve seen her thrive and together we’ve learned a lot along the way. I want to share what I’ve learned and help families and individuals living a gluten free life navigate this journey and make the transition to living an amazing and beautiful gluten free life.

I'm here to help.
